May 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pmFree
One in five Australians aged 16-85 experience a mental illness in any year. 54% do not access any treatment and the proportion of with mental illness accessing treatment is half that of people with physical disorders. This means, that there are a lot of individuals with mental anguish not receiving any treatment, perhaps not even disclosing of their problems.
In this public talk, we will be exploring Chinese medicine modalities such as acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and their role in the treatment of mental and emotional illness. Acupuncture is particularly effective in re-establishing harmony and balance when it comes to emotional upsets.
We are lucky to also have Alicia Moltzen (Mind Your Health Hypnotherapy) joining us. “There is research to suggest the two modalities work extremely well together to strengthen the patient’s response to whatever issue they are experiencing”, says Alicia.
You will experience a live demonstration of Hypnotherapy (in a safe group setting). And if you are up for it, we would like to show you how one simple needle (of acupuncture) can make a big difference to how you feel.
We can’t wait to explore this very important topic with you, book your seat now. It’s free!
